The Libra is considerably cheaper than the Oasis. The screen lighting and display clarity are similar on both devices [300 PPI each] but the Kindle does appear to be a little bit clearer in my opinion. Anyway, watch the video for a quick comparison. Below: A post from Reddit r/kobo.

I think the kindles offer a better return policy due to them being Amazon made products. Kobo can be troublesome to return a faulty reader. At least thats what I've discovered online.
The solution is easy. Just buy the Kobo from Amazon and if you need to return it deal with Amazon. It will all go through Amazons return / refund policy. Shouldn't need to deal with Kobo support at all. I wouldn't think so anyway.
